Route Info

You will start out in Peanut country in Portales, ride through the oilfields of West Texas and end in cotton country. It is primarily gravel roads and we will camp at the Muleshoe Wildlife refuge before heading out for a long day of riding to get to Lubbock


This ride was featured on bikepacking.com as the "Plains Perspective"  Our version of this route will start at Eastern New Mexico University and end at Jones Stadium on the Texas Tech campus. 


The second day is between 80-90 miles, so be prepared to ride!
